 Thunder Bird sighting Encinitas CAhttp://www.cryptozoology.com/sightings/ ... hp?id=1454
On a bright sunny, quiet afternoon, in olivenhain(encinitas), 8 miles from the coast, I first heard a loud sound, like swooshing. As I stood listening, it flew over the house and directly over my head. It was a huge dark bird, slowly going east. It was much bigger than any bird I have ever seen, including vultures,condors. My very first thought was amazement, and where could it possibly go where it wouldn't be seen. It created a shadow over me, and disappeared into the mountains. I finally saw a picture of the bird I saw, and learned they really exsist. I'm not sure how this size bird could live in California and not be seen by everyone.
